TKO‘s patented SDS "Secure Dumbbell System" is the most advanced locking system on the market today. Traditionally, gym-style dumbbells are assembled using different sizes of weights on a round shaft handle secured with a bolt on the ends. TKO has found the solution! Our SDS Series of dumbbells combines one-piece cast heads with steel inserts, pinned and fitted onto a squared off handle. Then, depending on the series of dumbbell, a special thread lock or weld is used to secure the head for extra durability and safety. Consequently, the SDS dumbbells will never rotate like the conventional dumbbells on the market.
