Teeter Hang ups
The Hang up Story
Roger and Jennifer Teeter founded Hang Ups Inversion Products in 1981 and have been dedicated to manufacturing quality inversion products ever since. One of the primary reasons that Teeter Hang Ups has been so successful in promoting inversion is that Roger and Jenny truly believe in the benefits of this simple, natural form of therapy that has actually been around since 400 BC (see History of Inversion). Inversion has changed Roger's life; he is dedicated to sharing his knowledge of inversion and quality products with the world. Here is Roger's story...
Roger and Jenny first "discovered" inversion at a water ski tournament in 1980. At the time, Roger was suffering from severe back problems resulting from his job as a professional water skier and from an auto accident. On worst mornings, Roger would wake up and have to crawl to the bathroom to run hot water over his back before he could stand up. He continued to compete professionally, forced to wear a large back brace with metal rods.
Roger had tried many forms of therapy to help manage his pain. He finally discovered that by inverting (hanging upside down), he was able to relieve his back pain and begin on the road to recovery. Roger began inverting in 1980 and has been doing it ever since. He credits inversion for keeping him pain free, healthy and active.
Roger saw a need for safe, quality equipment and decided to start a company dedicated to manufacturing inversion products. Sky's the Limit (STL) entered the inversion market in 1981 with the Hang Ups inversion products. Inversion is the company's proprietary product line and Teeter Hang Ups is the only company in the world to manufacture inversion products continuously since 1981. |
